Having created theatre sets for over 100 productions, I can design a set to fit almost any space, from professional theatres with fly towers, to intimate 'black box' studios, school halls, and classrooms. I offer a complete service, from design, to consultation and assistance with building, to finished art.
Having directed and/or choreographed nearly fifty well-known musicals, including Les Miserables, 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Chicago, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Witches of Eastwick, The Pirates of Penzance, The Hot Mikado, Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, Godspell, Peter Pan, Sweeney Todd, Aladdin Jnr, and Oliver! I have an extensive knowledge of many of the shows commonly undertaken by schools.
Clients include Scotch College Melbourne, Trinity Grammar, Ivanhoe Grammar School (Ridgeway and Plenty Campuses), Korowa Anglican Girls' School, Wesley College, and Babirra Music Theatre. In 2012 I was nominated for Best Set for Babirra’s Oliver! in both the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Awards and Lyrebird Awards, and received a Commendation from the MTGV – Junior Section, for the set of Wesley College’s Urinetown.
